Okay, here's the viewing info on the Star Trek universe.

The Shows

The Pilot:
"The Cage" (written to be the original pilot; not released to the viewing public till 1988): 63 min

The Original Series:
aired 1966 to 1969, 79 episodes, 51 minutes a piece, 4029 total viewing minutes (including the second pilot)

The Animated Series:
aired 1973 to 1974, 22 episodes, 30 minutes a piece, 660 total viewing minutes

The Next Generation:
aired 1987 to 1994, 178 episodes, 45 minutes a piece, 8010 total viewing minutes

Deep Space Nine:
aired 1993 to 1999, 176 episodes, 45 minutes a piece, 7920 total viewing minutes

Voyager:
aired 1995 to 2001, 172 episodes, 45 minutes a piece, 7740 total viewing minutes

Enterprise:

The Blog Set-Up
So, we'll watch in order according to date. In other words, at various points we'll have to go back and forth between watching The Next Generation and Deep Space Nine, and then later, Deep Space Nine and Voyager.

Posts will be tagged in relation to the series it's pertaining to. So, for a while each post will be tagged with TOS, The Original Series. Posts about the Star Trek universe, or the project as a whole will be tagged "Meta." Or, posts talking about the Franchise influence in our own universe will be tagged "Pop."
