hawkbrwn: I spend way too much time thinking about Spock. Honest. My thought is that he represents an interesting integration of Kantian ethics with Aristotelian virtue, and as far as I'm concerned, you can't get any hotter than that. I'm a philosopher by trade (does philosopher really count as a 'trade'? doesn't philosophy escape the commodity exchange model since clearer thinking is a hard thing to sell?), and you'll read way too much on the ethical considerations, and socio-political context of particular episodes in my reviews. You'll also just hear a lot about Spock.
Sabrina 10-years old: I think that Star Trek is an amazing show that is interesting but in some shows it's very obvious what's going to happen but in others it keeps you on the edge of your seat. So, be ware, fair readers, because I am here to tell you to watch Star Trek! WHOOOOOO!
